Buying a House

I just applied for a home loan with my bank. I have been working over the last serveral months to clean up my credit history. My current score is not very good. Some of that is my fault and some is not. At any rate...I am the only one who can take care of it. The lady at the bank was very encouraging and she told me that it should take very much time at all to get my credit score up. I had called the bank because I wanted to see how I was doing on fixing my credit. I told her that one of my goals for this year is to buy a home. She suggested that I apply sooner rather than later. That way they can work with me to fix anything well before I actually find the house that I want to buy.

I have been so happy with my life lately. I cannot think of a time in my life that I have been happier. God is good, all the time...I think that maybe I am just now starting to realize it.

Sometimes I even amaze myself!

I locked my keys in my car after my music lesson tonight. Am I a moron? I thought I had a brain in my head but now I am not so sure. So I am sitting in a little resturaunt called El Chili. The atmosphere is knida kewl, the staff seems nice. LOL I feel like I am writing a review. they have a really cool patio. They have heaters and blankets for people when they get cold. I ordered the fish tacos. I want to order a drink but a friend is going to pick me up and I don't want to be drinking when he gets here. My friend just started AA about a week ago. He will probably not be here for a while...I decided to order a margarita...the Chongo. Don't worry I finished long before my friend showed up. In fact, I am still waiting on him and it has been over an hour.

So, I have finished my fish tacos...the were good. One had cubed avacado on top and the other had little red pickled tomatos. They offered beans and rice on the side for $1 each, I added some charro beans to my order. The beans were okay, but nothing to write home about...my blog maybe...home...no...It was a small portion, not quite worth an extra buck. I had homemade canilla ice cream for desert...very good.

I asked if I could keep a menu for my collection...no go...I am going to have to take a picture so that people will believe that I collect them. I even offered to buy it from them. Nope...NO MENU FOR YOU!

On another note. My guitar instructor said that I need to get the new iLife for my Mac so that I have Garage Band. Sweet...an excuse to buy more software. I am really enjoying my guitar lessons...I think they will be fun if I can find the time to practice.

First Day of School

Today is the first day of school. I was late to my first class by @ least 20 minutes. I don't know what I was thinking. I felt so stupid. I am the oldest in the class, including the instructor. It used to be cool to be the oldest in the class (unless you were held back). Not so much anymore. I am waiting outside of Darin Layne's house for my lesson @ 6:00pm.

I have decided not to get a dog. I hope that he doesn't get put to sleep. I need to call Tere to let her know. A dog would just be too much for me to handle right now...especially one that is not trained.
